All About us...
"We, the American Jordanian Women of Jordanian heritage, whether by ancestry or affinity, residing in Michigan, have recognized the imperative to promote and fortify Jordanian heritage within our community. In response, we have taken the decision to establish an Association. This initiative commenced when eight dedicated women convened with the shared goal of fostering unity and friendship among Jordanian women while simultaneously advocating for the rich culture, traditions, and heritage of Jordan. Our overarching aim is to raise funds in support of programs significant to Jordanian women and to afford young Jordanians the opportunity to embrace and celebrate their traditions, identity, and culture.

Throughout the year 2023, we diligently pursued the necessary registrations at both federal and state levels, culminating in the establishment of a nonprofit, nonpolitical, and non-religious organization. With the implementation of comprehensive bylaws, we are pleased to announce our attainment of 501(c)(3) status this year.
Our primary mission is to generate sufficient funds by year-end to bestow several scholarships upon young ladies of Jordanian descent who aspire to pursue higher education. Since our inception in July 2023. The Association has orchestrated various activities, including a successful membership drive dinner on October 17, 2023, which saw an attendance of 92 members. Additionally, we organized an engaging evening at 'Painting with a Twist,' where participants depicted the iconic image of Petra, followed by a Sold Out spirited Karaoke. We were also featured in Ammon News in Jordan with the help of Mr. Wiliam Salita. As we progress through the remainder of the year, an array of diverse activities is planned, culminating in our eagerly anticipated Picnic on June 30th.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering love and continued support.
Sincerely, the 2024 Board
